Tafsīr Of Sūrah Yūnus, Verse 99
تفسير سورة يونس الآية 99
Question
He says what is the exegesis of Allāh, the Most High's statement (which means): ﴾And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. So, will you (O Muhammad ﷺ) then compel mankind, until they become believers﴿ [Yūnus:99]

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ bn Fawzān al-Fawzān:
Its meaning is that guidance is with Allāh, the Exalted and Most High. Allāh, the Majestic and Most High, said (what means): ﴾Verily! You (O Muhammad SAW) guide not whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He knows best those who are the guided﴿ [al-Qaṣaṣ:56]. Naʿam.
