Question
Among the questions that reached us through the website, is (this): I read in the book of Allāh, the Most High (what means): ﴾The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder﴿ [al-Qamar:1]. What is intended by “the Hour has drawn near”?

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ bn Fawzān al-Fawzān:
It means the time of the establishment of the Last Hour has drawn near. This is a reminder from Allāh to His servants, that they should fear the establishment of the Last Hour, because it will not be established except upon the evildoers. Naʿam.
