Reward For Listening To The Qurʾān
أجر الاستماع للقرآن
Question
He says: A person who listens to the Qurʾān but does not know how to recite, will he be rewarded for that?
Official Transcript (English)
Shaykh Ṣāliḥ bn Fawzān al-Fawzān:
Yes. ﴾So, when the Quran is recited, listen to it, and be silent that you may receive mercy﴿ [Al-Aʿrāf:204]
