Reciting Basmalah Silently In Ṣalāh
سبب الإسرار بالبسملة في الصلاة
Question
He says: The basmalah (bismillāh ar-Raḥmān ar-Raḥīm) is a verse in Sūrah al-Fātiḥah. Why don't we recite it out loud in the prayers?

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ bn Fawzān al-Fawzān:
Because the Messenger ﷺ did not use to say it out loud. Naʿam.
