Meeting The Rakʿah At The Rukūʿ
إدراك الركعة بإدراك الركوع
Question
If the person meets the Imām in the Rukūʿ (bowing position), will the Rakʿah (unit) be counted for him? Or is it binding upon him to repeat the Rakʿah because he did not recite al-Fātiḥah? This is from Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUbaydī from Yemen.

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ bn Fawzān al-Fawzān:
No. When he meets the Rukūʿ, he has met the Rakʿah and reciting al-Fātiḥah is not (binding) upon him. Naʿam.
