Shortening The Prayer On Recreational Journeys
Question (English)
This questioner says: Is it permissible for us to combine and shorten the prayers while on a journey? Putting in mind that this journey of ours is for recreation and not for work.
Official Transcript (English)
Shaykh Ṣāliḥ bn Fawzān al-Fawzān:
There is no harm in that. It is permissible to combine and shorten the prayers during the permissible journey if it reaches the distance required for shortening of prayers. Naʿam.
