Woman Leaving Her House During The Waiting Period (ʿIddah)

Question
One of the sisters says: The father of my husband died, and he has three wives. Is it permissible for us to gather them in a single house during the period of grief? Is there any harm in them leaving their houses during the waiting period?

If they agree to that, then no problem. Naʿam.

But if they do not agree to gathering together, then each woman should remain in her house. In the daytime, they can go out. But in the night, all of them should remain in their houses.
