He says: In the ḥadīth of the Messenger ﷺ: “No one who severs (the ties of kinship) will enter Jannah (Paradise).” Is this severing (of ties) specific to the parents alone?
Official Transcript (English)
Shaykh Ṣāliḥ bn Fawzān al-Fawzān:
(It is regarding) the general ties of kinship. Severing (the ties of) any relative. It is general regarding any relative. And at the head of the ties of kinship is the parents.
