هل كان النَّبي ﷺ يخفِّف الصَّلاة بالنَّاس إذا سمع بكاء الصَّبي؟

Official Transcript (English)

Yes, he (peace be upon him) used to shorten his prayer. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'I stand up for prayer intending to prolong it, then I hear the crying of a child, so I shorten my prayer because I do not want to cause hardship for his mother.' (Al-Bukhari).

الجواب الكامل (باللغة العربية)

نعم، كان يخفِّف صلاته ﷺ، قال ﷺ: «إني لأقوم في الصَّلاة، أريد أن أطول فيها، فأسمع بكاء الصَّبي فأتجوَّز في صلاتي؛ كراهيَّة أن أشقَّ على أمِّه». (البخاري).
