He was four years old. The wisdom behind the splitting of the chest was that it was filled with faith and wisdom, and the portion of Shaytan (Satan) was extracted from his heart.

كان عمره ﷺ أربع سنوات، الحكمة من شقِّ الصَّدر أنَّه ملئ بالإيمان والحكمة، واستخرجوا من قلبه حظَّ الشَّيطان.
