لماذا اعتنى السَّلف بتلقين أولادهم التَّوحيد؟

They focused on teaching their children Tawheed so that the child would grow up upon the correct creed. For this reason, the most beloved names to Allah Almighty are 'Abdullah and 'Abd al-Rahman. Thus, the child must realize that he is a servant of Allah Almighty and that Allah is his Master and Patron.

اعتنوا بتلقين أولادهم التَّوحيد حتَّى ينشأ الصَّبي على العقيدة الصَّحيحة، ولهذا كان أحبَّ الأسماء إلى الله تعالى: عبد الله وعبد الرَّحمن، فيجب أن يعي الصَّبي أنَّه عبدٌ لله تعالى وأنَّ الله تعالى هو سيِّده ومولاه.
