ما الدليل على مغفرة الله للموحدين كل يوم اثنين وخميس؟

The ḥadīth where the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The deeds are presented to Allāh every Monday and Thursday. So Allāh forgives everyone that does not associate partners with him. And I like that my deeds are presented while I am fasting.” This contains an encouragement for the Muslim to actualise and perfect his Tawḥīd. Likewise Allāh forgives the muwaḥḥidūn on the 15th night of Shaʿbān. The annual deeds of the slaves are presented to Allāh on this night, so He forgives all the Muslims except the one who is quarrelling with his brother. Likewise, the ḥadīth “The five daily obligatory Ṣalāhs, and a Jumuʿah till another Jumuʿah, and a Ramaḍān till another Ramaḍān all expiate for what is in between them, when the major sins are refrained from.” So, the Muslim must be diligent regarding four matters the messengers came with: 1. Tawḥīd 2. Following the messenger 3. Istighfār (seeking forgiveness) 4. Taqwá (piety) Many muslims focus on Tawḥīd and following the Sunnah but abandon Istighfār. But istighfār is also important as through it, Allāh turns the slave's distress to ease, his sadness to happiness, and so on. Likewise, despite the fact that Allāh's Messenger ﷺ had been forgiven of his previous and future sins, he would still seek Allāh's forgiveness 100 times a day, and more. Whenever ʿUmar (may Allāh be pleased with him) sees children, he would say to them: “Say ‘O Allāh, forgive ʿUmar.’”
