نصيحة في الزواج وتجاوز العقبات

Our advice is the advice of the Prophet (ﷺ): “O young people, those of you who can support a wife should marry, for marriage controls the gaze and protects the private parts from prohibited acts. And if one is unable to marry, he should fast for it is a shield.” So, our advice to the fathers is that it is imperative to marry off their matured children to righteous people. It is upon the male and female that want to marry to shun overburdening themselves. This matter has led many to abandon early marriage and it has caused a lot of corruption. An individual does not know the tribulations that he will be exposed to, especially in this time of ours. A person should not feel safe from deviating. It is upon the fathers to marry off their matured children. It is not compulsory to organise a banquet or have a big house where a lot of people will be fed before marriage can be done. Marriage has never for once been a hindrance towards seeking knowledge. ʿUmar said to Ibn Masʿūd (may Allāh be pleased with both of them): “Should we not marry you to a woman that will remind you of what you used to know?” Afterwards, he should ask Allāh for righteous children. May Allāh facilitate this.
